Carefully take lamp out of container. The chimney especially is quite thin and very breakable. I know I have broke a few of my mother's on accident. 😳

Grab the lamp oil. I love the colored oil. There is no real function except the color is pretty in a clear lamp. I've read canola oil with a few drops of essential fragrance oil may also be used.
