How to Try Oil Pulling

Do a bit of research to see all the healthy benefits of oil pulling!


  • Pure Coconut Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon
  • 1 Glass of Water
  • 10-15mins
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Coconut Oil is great for cooking with, moisturizing your skin and is also known to kill bacteria. But did you know it can be an amazing natural mouthwash!?

    Step 2

    At least once a day, put a tablespoon of coconut oil into your mouth. Swish it around for 10-15mins but DO NOT SWALLOW.

    Step 3

    The enzymes and salvia react together and pull toxins out of your mouth. So be sure to spit it all out!

    Step 4

    After you spit, rinse your mouth with water and brush your teeth. Then drink an entire glass of water to further flush out toxins.

    Step 5

    NOTE: Since coconut oil hardens at cooler temperatures I suggest spitting out into a waste bin or toilet to avoid clogging your sink.

    Step 6

    You can use other types of pure oils like sesame seed. I personally prefer coconut, just find it easier to use and tastes better.
