Now it's time to start the project. First I which papers to layers from the bottom to the top. Next I tear the middle and top layers to create movement and interest then glue them in place.

Next paint your chippies allowing them to dry completely then apply a coat of Crackle.  This will give a beautiful aged look.  Set your chippies aside to use later.

Now it's time to start layering your elements on the layout.  Begin by placing your doily and securing it with mounting squares.  Then take your stencil and apply your texture paste.

Allow the paste to dry before continuing. Matt your photo and add either foam adhesive dots or cardboard to give height to your project. Then secure in place. Tuck bits of burlap under the photo.

Now add those chippie flourishes and tuck under the photo. Arrange your flower around the photo and at the bottom of the page. Final step is to add embellishments.

I apply a light coat of gesso to the darker flowers.  Then I added the Robin's Nest gems in the center of the blooms and around the page securing them with Helmar Gemstone glue.
