How to Soothe Your Sunburn

Summer is here! And along with summer comes sunburns:p I learned this trick from my grandma and I absolutely LOVE it. Works really well and its inexpensive.

How to Soothe Your Sunburn

Fill your pot with water and add the tea bags. obviously we are now going to put the pot on the stove to make some tea haha


When your water turns tea colored (I just steep it till the water turns really dark and I almost cat see the bottom of the pot) take it off the stove and let it sit for about 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes add some ice to cool it down a bit so you don't burn your skin of cause the point of this is to soothe skin not burn it further.


Soak your washcloth in the tea and then put them on your poor burned skin. I normally just wait till the washcloth has dried out a bit or my skin starts to feel better.
