How to Roast Potatoes and Vegetables on Skewers😂😂

Beautiful presentation for a fancy dinner #noorfares. Easy to serve. Roast any vegetables in season. And flavor them with herbs and spices of choice. Ingredients are partially cooked (steamed or▶️

Supplies

  • Mix for basting
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • ¼ Teaspoons Salt
  • 2 Teaspoons Sugar
  • 18 Bamboo skewers soaked in water
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Ingredients for 6.. Each 3 skewers. Brussel sprouts (5 halves/skewer). Potatoes (4 quarters/skewer), Pumpkin (3 triangles/skewer), shallots (3 pieces/skewer)

    Soak skewers in water for 1 hr so

    Prepare the basting mix. Put all the ingredients together and microwave until butter is melted. Stir well.

    Microwave 4 mins on high

    Either mix with the mix then drain and put in skewers or prepare skewers then baste them with a brush.

    Roast 15-17 mins

    Microwave on high 1-2 mins more or less. Until they are 1/2 cooked

    Roast in a preheated oven 200C 10-12 mins. Serve
