Put desired amount in center of foil
If using whole garlic cut off top to expose cloves
Coat garlic in oil
Coat whole bulb in oil
Toss to coat evenly in oil
Close foil around garlic and shape like a garlic bulb
Roast for 1 to 2 hours @ 300 degrees or until it can be easily smashed with fork. Note that when roasting a whole bulb it will take less time then peeled.
Garlic will be a golden brown when done
Golden and delicious
If using whole just squeeze it right out of the peel.
Smash it with side of a knife
Smash or use whole cloves. I like to smash and add it to mashed potatoes or butter.
