How to Roast Broccoli

Roasted Veggies are simple to make, taste like candy, and very healthy. For those that grew up on boiled vegetables, there is a whole new way to ENJOY eating vegetables. Kids will ask for more!

Supplies

  • 1 head of Broccoli
  • Cheese (optional)
  • Salt
  • Baking sheet
  • Tin foil or Parchment paper
  • Cheese grater (optional)
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Preheat oven to 450 degrees

    Step 2

    Line a baking sheet with tin foil (or parchment paper)

    Step 3

    Cut broccoli into small-medium sized pieces (the smaller they are the faster they "brown and get crispy")

    Step 4

    Drizzle olive oil over broccoli & add salt

    Step 5

    Cook broccoli for 10 minutes

    Step 6

    Turn them over. When they start to brown and crisp around edges, they are done.

    Step 7

    Grate cheese over broccoli and enjoy!
