You could use rooting hormone for this. If you don't have any, I've heard cinnamon or honey works too
I wanted to get more bonsai trees without all of that rooting hormone on a stick, so I cut off a small piece of my bonsai tree and stuck it in some water, and it worked!
Find a small woody branch with a few leaves on it. Snip that off towards the base of the stick. It will ooze a pale sticky foam. That's normal but I don't know why it does that. Sorry!!
Place it in a small cup. I like to upcycle plastic bottles by cutting them in half for this. Take off the leaves that are keeping the cutting away from the water or are just too big
If you use a plastic bottle half, fill it up to the cap line with water. If not, just fill the cup up with 1/2 - 1 inch of water, depending on the size of your cutting
This one already has a root. Be carful! These roots are REALLY delicate and don't brag about them to people too much because too much handling can result in the root breaking off.
That happened to that one once already. It made me really mad, but now I'm happy that it came back :)
I'm trying to make a guide on how to make a bonsai tree from a normal tree, while in the meantime I'll be watching it take root
That's all folks! Thanks for viewing! Have a nice day :)
God bless you :)
