How to Prepare Yummy Chicken Biryani

Supplies

  • ¼ kilograms Chicken
  • 3 Cups Rice
  • 200 Grams Chopped onions
  • ½ Tablespoons Ground pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger paste
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic paste
  • 10 Green chillies
  • 4 Tablespoons Cooking oil/ghee
  • 4 Cloves
  • 4 Elaichi
  • 5 Bay leaves
  • ½ Teaspoons Cumin seeds
  • ½ Teaspoons Garam masala powder
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Marinate chicken with 2tablespoon ginger and garlic paste,10 chopped green chillies,salt and curd for 4-5 hrs.

    Step 2

    In a pan add 1 cup of ghee or cooking oil

    Step 3

    Wash and soak rice in water.

    Step 4

    Add cumin seeds,clove,cinnamon and onions to the pan containing ghee/oil and fry until golden brown

    Step 5

    Add tomatoes and fry until they are cooked and oil comes out.

    Step 6

    Add 1tsp of ginger garlic paste.

    Step 7

    Now add garam masala powder.

    Step 8

    Now add the marinated chicken to it.

    Step 9

    Meanwhile in another pan add 1tbsp of ghee....add bay leaves.remove water from the soaked rice and add it to the pan and fry until golden brown.keep stirring continuously.

    Step 10

    Add 1-2 cups of water to the pan containing chicken and boil until it gets cooked 50%

    Step 11

    Add the fried rice to the pan containing chicken.i added chilli flakes as it was not spicy:P

    Step 12

    After mixing well..add 6 cups of water.add salt as required and cover lid until rice is cooked .add lemon juice if required.

    Step 13

    Tada...Yummy chicken biryani ready :)
