Make sure that you are registered for the event itself. This secures a slot for you at the game and it helps the event coordinator properly prepare for the number of registrants.
Full-Seal goggles are the most important part of playing airsoft because your eyeballs are very important. Keep them safe with impact rated full-seal goggles.
Bring all of the Airsoft guns that you plan on using at the event. It's always a good idea to bring multiple guns in case one of your primary guns goes down in the field.
Airsoft guns don't work without batteries so be sure to bring plenty of juice. It's also a good idea to bring some sort of a in-car charging device so you can recharge if you need to.
High quality BIO BBs are what you need to have fun on the field. Be sure that you have plenty of ammo for multiple days of gameplay.
You are going to need lots of magazines to stay on the field as long as possible. Be sure that you have plenty of primary mags and at least 2 mags for your secondary.
Radios are one of the most important parts of MilSim. Make sure that you always have a way to communicate with the rest of your team by having a radio on your loadout.

Water is the most important part of any physical activity. Make sure that you bring approx. 1 gallon of water per person per day to prevent any dehydration issues.
Cash is king. Bring some to buy stuff at any of the retailers who will be there. There are also lots of other players who are always buying, selling and trading gear.
