See your food as the most aesthetic thing alive. Like here, its a regular muffin taken from a cafe
Try to bring out the elements of your food. E.g., softness of a bread, by its pores. Crispiness of a samosa, by the flakes and layers. And here, i broke my muffin to show how soft and fluffy it is
Now when your food is looking gorgeous, try to bring the camera at an angle where it captures the warmth and elements of the delight. Tip: pic taken from sides turn out to be good
crepes, and other ingredients on it
If your platter is completely delightful, don't hesitate to take the whole picture, Tip: keep the food opposing light source
Bruschetta: a side view of saucy bruschetta
Catch the jazz. The viewer should get the flavor ;)
The key to food photography is.. No matter how bad the food tastes, theres something in it which can catch your attention. And so should u capture it!
