PEBEO fabric paint pots! When I got my PEBEO fabric paints I was keen to give it a go myself.
My sons SAPSASA jacket before we personalised it.
Using my favourite brush ATM, a Princeton Catalyst brush size 1 mini.
Spread some black fabric paint thinly and evenly on a hard surface. Make it just larger than the size of your biggest stamp.
Press your stamp onto your paint pad repeatedly until evenly covered. You can see if your stamp isn't covered properly.
Before paint starts to dry press onto your fabric firmly pressing over entire stamp area. The fabric paint stamps beautifully.
Our surname is Watts but Wattsy is his nickname.
The stamps will print leaving a texture. You can leave it as is if you like the texture. (Which is fine too)
I wanted crisp black lettering so I went in with my Princeton paint brush to clean up the print and make it a solid black.
All painted in. Now to set the colour. Let dry then Iron on high with dry heat (turn off steam). I placed a piece of cotton over artwork and iron, then I ironed straight onto paint for a few minutes.
He was very pleased with the results. So were his mates. Now his class mates have sent theirs home with him for me to stamp theirs also. Lol
