Three stages of the garlic clove.
Cut the tip and the bottom off the clove with your knife. Turn the knife on its side and place over the garlic. Hit the knife with a clenched fist in a sharp firm action. No need to squash!
Slice as thin as you can at first. Then using a rocking motion with your knife and the board slice the garlic up as thinly as you wish.
Rubbing your hands in a stainless steel surface takes the Odor of your hands. You can also get a stainless steel soap bar. Does anybody know how this works??? :)
By doing this it is creating a sea salt and lime scrub. Similar to what you would use on your face if your in to that kind of thing. Cleanses the board leaving a Nice smell.
