Got this at Home Depot for under $12.00. There are lots of colors to choose from, and it's also got a sealer in it. I'm going over gray grout, and this color is a taupe/gray to go with the granite.
Grout before . Sometimes no matter how much cleaning, bleaching, or steaming you do, grout just gets dirty after time.
Above is using the Polyblend, below is what I'm covering up ( ewwwww!)
The bottle said to "Let dry for 24 hours". But minutes after I applied it, it was dry! The product seemed to be sucked in by the dry grout. This immediate drying may not be the case for everyone.
I found pouring the grout paint into a small container was easier than using the cap and a toothbrush. I also am using a stiff angled artist brush. Everyone's tile is different, use what works best :)
See the difference? I wiped down after where I got the grout paint on the tile.
It's working!! FYI vacuum the tile before you begin, especially if you have a furry family member that likes to nap on the cool tile!
To the right is the grout paint, to the left is the original dingy grout
Above is the original grout, below is the grout paint. Easy project, grab your coffee, put some tunes on, and save a lot of $$ by doing this yourself!
