Mixology of Henna Paste . Use only fresh lemon juice or bottled Real Lemon juice. Another alternative is to use a strong black tea that's been strained and room temp. Slowly add liquid to henna paste.

Cover with plastic wrap,then foil and let the henna cure in a warm place for 24 hours. If you have made a half batch, you may cut your cure time to 12 hours. The natural dye in the henna can  release.

Henna has a natural dye release once you add your preferred liquid. Here you can see Red coloured pools of tannin on the top of your paste after a few hours. Once fully cured a dark film  develops.

Now after half cured ( the first 12 hours) mix then add your essential oils, mix again, recover for another 12 hours. Keep the henna in a  warm place to cure. Keep cool until use. .
