How to Mix Up Easy Vanilla Oreo Pudding

Easy light and very flavorful dessert with a mix of smooth and crunchy... A chocolatey vanilla treat!


  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 3 Ounces Pkg Instant Vanilla Pudding
  • 8 Ounces Cool Whip
  • 1 Pounds Oreo Cookies
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Gather ingredients. A plastic bag works great to crush cookies and to store unused cookie pieces in freezer.

    Step 2

    Don't over crush too finely. Larger chunks work and taste better.

    Step 3

    Recipe calls for Buttermilk but I use substitute which is 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice and the rest milk to equal 1 cup.

    Step 4

    Add milk to lemon juice to equal a cup as substitute for Buttermilk.

    Step 5

    Mix milk and pudding mix...

    Step 6

    Mix well....

    Step 7

    Spoon in Cool Whip (I use the lite variety).

    Step 8

    Gently fold in cool whip. (Your bowl will hold still because your other hand won't be filming with an iPhone. :) )

    Step 9

    Just before serving, line serving dishes with coarse crushed cookies.

    Step 10

    Spoon pudding mix on top.

    Step 11

    Garnish with crumbs or even a whole cookie. Serve immediately to keep cookies crunchy
