How to Make Yummy Blueberry & Raspberry Compote

Supplies

  • 1 ½ Cups Raspberries
  • 1 ½ Cups Blueberries
  • ¼ Cups Maple syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon Corn Starch
  • 1 Tablespoon Water
  • ¼ Teaspoons Pure vanilla extract
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    I usually use maple syrup rather than sugar

    Step 2

    Mix raspberries blueberries maple syrup and pure vanilla extract in a sauce pan and bring to a boil for 5 to 10 minutes

    Step 3

    Combine water and cornstarch and add to sauce pan, stir in cornstarch bring mixture to boil for a minute and then remove from heat

    Step 4

    Let cool for a minute then pour into a nice bowl

    Step 5

    Great with crapes and fresh fruit!
