Supplies! If you don't have a kitchen aid, a hand mixer will work just fine.
Add your full container of whipping cream (this is 1 pint).
Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Add 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (note: if you like your whipped cream quite sweet, add another tablespoon)
Mix it on the medium-high setting- I am mixing this on the 4-6. This goes REALLY fast with the kitchen aid, it takes slightly longer with a hand mixer.
Let it go until the whipped cream is nice and stiff and fluffy. Don't overmix! If you let it go too long, it will become liquid-like again. This took me less than 5 minutes.
Top your pumpkin pie, ice cream or just eat it out of the bowl! (Kidding). It will stay in the fridge for a day or two but then it will go flat, so use it up!
