Let me start by saying in Indian cooking, there is NEVER a specific measurement. Everyday you add or omit something. I'm aware some of you might not have the required ingredients in your pantry.

Here are the spices: cardamom pods, cloves and cinnamon. This cinnamon I'm using is pretty strong which is why I crushed it slightly. These spices are crucial, try your best to get them!
