Leaving as much oil as possible from the chicken, turn the heat to medium then add the remaining 1 teaspoon of oil and let it heat up.

Turn the heat to high and when the sauce starts to simmer add the chicken pieces back in. Let it cook/simmer for another 2 mins until the chicken is cooked (depends on how thick you cut your chicken.)

Now you have your sweet and sour chicken done! You can cut into a piece of chicken, see if it's still pink, cook it for another minute. You can also taste the sauce and add brown sugar if you'd like.
