Blend the beans, bell pepper, habanero pepper and onions. Add enuf water to make a thick consistency. U don't want it watery at all!!! Cos when u add salt it makes it more watery(learnt dt d hard way)
Make sure it's smooth, which is y I soak my beans fr a day (optional) to make it very soft and very easy to get d smooth texture. U can also blend it with dried crayfish, Jst fr d aroma n nutrient 😜
I know, looks like dog sick 😜. Patience! Add all remaining ingredients. Tip: add salt n bullion cube first n let rest so it dissolves properly before adding d eggs, mackerel n crayfish. Stir properly
Important: when adding d salt n stock cube, don't add too much as the flavour is enhanced when cooked. Just enuf your taste bud knows ders salt in it.
At ds point bring water to boil in a kettle and pour in a pot. Cover and bring back to d boil. The small bowls in the pix are for the bean cake. Don't oil as ders oil in d mixture already.
Divide the mixture into small plastic bowls and cover. And put in the boiling water.
Make sure the water reaches upto 3/4 of d bowls and doesn't dry out. Cook fr about an hour. And voila. It's done.
Doesn't look good cos I couldn't be bothered to make it look good as it was late n I was feelin sleepy. But tastes delish. Can be enjoyed with custard, bread, rice or on its own. And it's healthy too
