How to Make Spinach and Ricotta

  • 1 Onion
  • Garlic
  • ½ Bunches Basil
  • 1 Large can of tomatoes
  • 2 Boxes of frozen spinach
  • 500 Grams Fresh ricotta cheese
  • 12 Fresh cannelloni sheets
  • Grated cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • 50 Grams Butter
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Step 1: finely chop the onions.

    Step 2

    Step 2: admire your onion chopping abilities.

    Step 3

    Step 3: turn your stove on and put a couple table spoons of olive oil in your pan.

    Step 4

    Step 4: put your Finely chopped onions in you pot.

    Step 5

    Step 5: put a table spoon of garlic in your pot and give it a mix.

    Step 6

    Step 6: now put half a bunch of basil into your pot.

    Step 7

    Step 7: now we give it a stir.

    Step 8

    Step 8: Now we put a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper in the pot.

    Step 9: Now we put our 2 big cans of tomatoes in.

    Step 10: What we do now is put a teaspoon of sugar.

    Step 11: now we put the teaspoon of balsamic vinegar.

    Step 12: now we just let it cook for a bit. (Simmer on low for 20 mins.)

    Step 13: now we put 50 grams of butter in a new separate pot to the other one.

    Step 14: Now we put the frozen spinach into the new pot.

    Step 16: now we let the spinach cook until the spinach is cooked through.

    Step 17: now we put the oven on to 175 degrees.

    Step 18: now when the spinach is done we put the ricotta cheese in.

    Step 18: Put your Napoli sauce on the bottom of your baking tray.

    Step 19: now we open the pastries.

    Step 20: with your pastries put the spinach and ricotta in and then rap it up and put it on top of you baking trey with the Napoli on the bottom.

    Step 21: admire your work.

    Step 22: now we lay the rest of our Napoli on top of our spinach and ricotta in the sheets.

    This is what it will look like.

    Step 24: now we lay a sheet of tin foil over the top.

    Step 25: open you oven and put your baking trey in the oven.

    Step 26: now wait 20 mins to take it out.

    Step 27: bring the baking trey out of the oven.

    Step 28: put your grated cheese on top of your spinach and ricotta.

    Step 29: put you baking trey back in the oven for 10 mins.
