How to Make Spicy Indian Pan Fried Salmon

Salmon marinated in Indian spices and pan fried.

Supplies

  • 4 Fillets of Salmon
  • ¾ Teaspoons Crushed green chilli
  • ½ Teaspoons Crushed ginger
  • ½ Teaspoons Crushed garlic
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera powder
  • ½ Teaspoons Garam masala
  • ¾ Teaspoons Turmeric powder
  • ¼ Teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Sunflower oil
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Gather your ingredients.

    Step 2

    In a cold pan add the spices, green chilli, garlic and ginger.

    Step 3

    Add the oil and combine the spices to make a paste.

    Step 4

    Add the salmon and coat well in the masala paste.

    Step 5

    Then turn on the heat on the pan and cook on a medium heat for approximately 15-20 mins, or until the salmon is cooked.

    Step 6

    Serve on a bed of cous cous with a cucumber and mint raita. To make the raita, cut the cucumber in chunks, add a couple of teaspoons of mint, add 2-3 tablespoons of Greek yoghurt, and mix well.
