How to Make Spicy Cinco De Mayo Salsa

Supplies

  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 2 Jalapeños
  • 1 Lime
  • ½ Small yellow onion
  • 1 Handful of cilantro
  • 2 Tablespoons Sea salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 Can of diced tomatoes
  • 2 Cloves of garlic
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    It's fiesta time!!!

    Step 2

    Quarter tomatoes and remove seeds.

    Step 3

    Dice 'em up!

    Step 4

    Rough chop your onion.

    Step 5

    Same goes for your garlic cloves!

    Step 6

    Rough chop your jalapeños too! I removed the seeds from one of them, but depending on your spiciness preference, you can remove all of 'em or none! NOTE: wear some gloves when chopping jalapeños!!!

    Step 7

    Chop your cilantros.

    Step 8

    Put 'em all into the food processor.

    Step 9

    Hit it with some lime juice and pulse all of that goodness!

    Step 10

    Add in the diced tomatoes.

    Step 11

    Add the salt into the mix!

    Step 12

    Now add the olive oil! If the salsa is too chunky for your liking, add a little more!

    Step 13

    Get some chips, get your margarita on and enjoy your Cinco de Mayo!!!
