Use a short grain type of rice that is sticky when cooked.
Pour 1 and 1/2 cups of rice in a pot.
Add 2 cups of water and bring to boil.
Once it's to a boil reduce to simmer.
Add a little bit of oil to stop the starch bubbles from boiling over and place a lid over it for around 15 mins or until water is absorbed.
Once cooked, set aside to cool and firm up.
Grab your favorite kind of spam.
Chop in to 8 equal pieces.
Place in hot skillet and cook.
Brown and remove from heat.
Crack 4 eggs in a bowl.
Whisk eggs and add 2 tbsp of soy sauce.
Add the eggs in a hot pan with the leftover spam fat.
Moved the cooked eggs into the center of the skillet.
Turn heat of and cover. Let the carryover heat cook the uncooked eggs on top.
Grab your toasted seaweed and cut in half.
At one end of the seaweed place a Musubi frame and fill with rice. If you don't have a Musubi frame use the empty can of spam as a guide.
Place the egg in.
Lace the spam and press down on it.
It should look like this.
Start rolling it up.
End with the seam side down and let it sit for 5 mins to have the heat of the spam and rice seal it.
Cut and enjoy!
