How to Make Soya Ginger Pork Chops With a Citrus Sauce

Simple easy recipe for pork chops with a orange lemon sauce.

Supplies

  • ¼ Cups Soya sauce
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 5 Green onions chopped
  • 1 Large ginger rough diced
  • 6 Pork chops 100g
  • 1 Large orange juiced
  • ¼ Cups Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 Lemon juiced
  • ⅛ Cups Zest of one lemon
  • 2 Teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 Teaspoon Honey
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    In a bowl add water, soya sauce, green onions and ginger. Mix.

    Step 2

    Place pork chips in bag and pour over marinade. Place in fridge for at least 2 hours preferably 12 hours.

    Step 3

    Preheat oven to 350F. In a large oven proof fry pan spray some cooking oil. Over medium high heat sear pork chops until brown, about 4 min. Flip pork chops to sear the other side for 4 min.

    Step 4

    Pour in remaining marinade and place in preheated oven lower rack for 30min or until pork registers 145F.

    Step 5

    While waiting for pork chops, prepare citrus sauce. Add zest of orange and lemon in a bowl.

    Step 6

    Squeeze the juice of one orange and one lemon. Add 1tsp of honey, 2 tsp Dijon mustard, fresh cracked pepper and a pinch of salt. Mix well. Reserve to pour over pork chops.

    Step 7

    Citrus sauce.
