Sofrito is a mixture of fresh vegetable that is used as a base in many latin dishes .In my guides you will see me using it a lot. Here is my simple sofrito recipe. Enjoy.

This is Ajices gustosos(dulces), If you can not find these you can use mini sweet peppers. They usually come in a bag of different colors. Costco carries them.

Dump all the ingredients in a blender or food processor in portions not all at once. Add water if needed to help it along. I forgot to take a pic of the garlic😩 add that in as well. VIP 👌

Freezing sofrito is convenient. It saves me alot of time in the kitchen. I always have some in the freezer at a moments notice when I have to cook. I hope you will try it
