How to Make Quick Vanilla Sugar

  • 2 Cups Baker's sugar
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  • Tea strainer
  • Food processor
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Collect your ingredients and tools.

    Step 2

    Chop your vanilla bean into 1 inch pieces.

    Step 3

    Measure the sugar.

    Step 4

    Pulse sugar and vanilla bean pod in a food processor until there are no big chunks of vanilla bean left.

    Step 5

    Sift the mixture over a mason jar to remove any big chunks of bean.

    Step 6

    Discard chunks of vanilla bean pod left in sifter.

    Step 7

    You will be left with delicious, fragrant vanilla sugar. Traditional vanilla sugar takes weeks but this version is just as good!

    Step 8
