How to Make Pumpkin Cream Cheese Spread

This recipe is from Shine (Yahoo). It works really well on cinnamon bagels.

Supplies

  • 8 Ounces Cream cheese, room temperature
  • ½ Cups Canned Pumpkin
  • ¼ Cups Sugar
  • ¾ Teaspoons Pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ Teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Let the cream cheese sit out at room temperature to warm up. Microwaving to warm it seems to thin the consistency of the finished product.

    Step 2

    Start by mixing the sugar and cream cheese together at low speed.

    Step 3

    Add the pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla. Beat on low to medium speed till smooth.

    Step 4

    Cover and refrigerate at least one hour.

    Step 5

    Spread on bagels, English muffins, breakfast breads, or anything else you can think of.

    Step 6

    My youngest grandson doesn't believe in using canned pumpkin!
