How to Make Proper Healthier Banana Bread

Supplies

  • 3-5 very ripe bananas
  • 3/4 cup raw sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 egg
  • Vanilla extract to taste
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • 1.5 cups sifted flour
  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

    Step 2

    Peel and place bananas in bowl (note: I used a mixture of ripe bananas and bananas I had previously frozen)

    Step 3

    Use raw sugar

    Step 4

    Add 3/4 cup raw sugar to bowl

    Step 5

    Add coconut oil

    Step 6

    Mix ingredients with a fork

    Step 7

    Add vanilla extract, continue to stir

    Step 8

    Add 1 egg

    Step 9

    Add baking soda and kosher salt

    Step 10

    Sift flour

    Step 11

    Add 1.5 cups sifted flour and stir with fork

    Step 12

    Stir in chocolate chips

    Step 13

    Pour batter in greased loaf or cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour

    Step 14

    Remove from oven

    Step 15

    Cut and serve
