How to Make Poach Salmon

  • 1 Salmon filet
  • ½ Teaspoons Garlic chopped
  • ¼ Teaspoons Peppercorn
  • 1 Bunch Dill
  • 1 Bunch Sage
  • ¼ Teaspoons Butter
  • ¼ Teaspoons Olive oil
  • ¼ Bunches Lemon
  • ½ Cups Chicken stock
  • ¼ Cups Water
  • Salt
  • Pepper

    To hot oil and butter, over medium heat, add the herbs, peppercorn, garlic, and lemon juice

    Step 3

    Add the liquid and bring to simmer. Season the salmon with salt and pepper and add it to the poaching liquid.

    Step 4

    Put in the lid slightly open and poach the salmon for 15 min controlling the temp not to boil too hard. Check if the fish is done by pressing on the fish. It should feel firm.

    Step 5

    Take out the fish from the liquid. Continue boiling the liquid and season with salt and pepper. Spoon over the fish. Served with sautéed greens (shown: asparagus & kale)
