How to Make Peruvian Ceviche

Supplies

  • 2 Fillets of fish
  • 2 Limes
  • 1 Red onion
  • 1 Jalapeno pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Black pepper
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    The Ingredients!

    Step 2

    White meats like flounder or cod work the best!

    Step 3

    Wash the fish in cold water!

    Step 4

    Dry the fish by pressing a paper towel over them!

    Step 5

    Wash the limes!

    Step 6

    Cut and peel the red onion! Dice it and wash the slices, in water along with a spoonful of salt! Wash them fast!

    Step 7

    Make sure it is thinly sliced!

    Step 8

    Wash the jalapeƱos!

    Step 9

    Cut and dice the fish!

    Step 10

    Combine the fish and onions in a bowl!

    Step 11

    Squeeze the limes over the fish and onions!

    Step 12

    Sprinkle a teaspoon of salt and a few shakes of pepper over it!

    Step 13

    Remove the seeds from the jalapeƱos and chop it into small pieces!

    Step 14

    Mix them all together!

    Step 15

    Let it marinate for an hour!

    Step 16

    Add a fried sweet potato and a lettuce touch and you dish is finished :)
