Make the batter by mixing together all the ingredients in the same bowl, except peanut butter and shortening. The batter should be fairly thin.
In a separate bowl, take the PB and shortening. You can use crunchy or creamy PB. I used creamy. Also, you can take more PB if you want a richer peanut buttery taste..
Microwave for 25 seconds
Since it was kind of lumpy, I heated for another 10 seconds to get a smooth combo.
The reason you use warmed milk and water is because the PB becomes lumpy when added to a cold batter, although that does not affect the results! Anyhow...
Since you already have shortening in the batter, simply spray the pan with cooking oil. You don't need to spray again.
Using a measuring cup or a ladle, pour the batter in the center of the pan and quickly swirl the pan to get a round crepe ;)
Flip over when the edges start to turn light brown
They are SO good with syrup!!!
