Gather all your supplies.
Scoop oats and pour into mixing bowl.
Scoop chocolate chips and add to the oats.
Measure out about 1/3 cup of whole flaxseed and grind it in the grinder. You can grind more than that and save it for later uses.
Pour half a cup of the ground flaxseed into the bowl.
Mix all the dry ingredients well.
Spray liquid measuring cup with non-stick cooking spray to help the honey come out faster. Pour the honey into the cup and add it to the dry ingredients.
Mix the honey with the dry ingredients
Spoon half a cup of peanut butter into the measuring cup. Add to the bowl.
Mix the peanut butter into the mixture.
Add vanilla extract. Give the mixture one last stir, making sure there are no clumps of one ingredient.
Place wax paper on a plate. Cut excess paper off if you'd like. This helps them stay as balls and not stick to the plate.
Sprinkle flour onto hands and rub all around. This helps reduce the stickiness when rolling the mixture into balls.
Use scooper to make all the balls the same size. Pick up some of the mixture and roll it in a ball between your palms.
Add more flour after every or every other ball you make to make the ball rolling process less messy.
After all the balls are made, place them in the fridge to firm up.
After at least 30 minutes, remove wax paper if wanted, and they are ready to eat!
