Fry the meat. It comes in one large chunk but after stirring it "acts" like regular minced meat.

As is turns out my piece of celery root wasn't celery root, it was turnip. It gave the dish a rather different flavor than celery would have done but since the idea was to use stuff we had at home...
... I decided to give it a try. Chop the onion, the garlic cloves and the bell pepper. Grate the carrots and the celery (in my case the turnip).
Add it to a pot with some butter. Stir and give it a few minutes. Remember that because of the turnip my dish will be more yellowish than yours will be, if you go ahead and try this recipe.
Add the meat.
Also add the chili sauce, the tomato paste and the remaining ingredients.
Boil for about 15 minutes. Taste and adjust, as always 😃
Serve with a pasta you like and plenty of parmesan.
