Lets go back to our garlic sauce, to the sauce I like to add chili flakes, it makes it nice and spicy and not hot at all.

Now lets make our mofongo. Peel the green plantains and cut them diagonally  like mine above. This much plantain will make one mofongo, use more plantains for a larger and richer mofongo .

I made a well in my plantains & added some shrimps inside. Each mofongo takes about a lge plantain. If you don't want to fill the plantain just pack the plantains down in a bowl & tap it on to a plate

I took my little bowl,placed a plate on the top and inverted it. To help it along before I placed the plate over the bowl I gently pried the plantains off the bowl with a butter knife.
