Cut the carrots
Chop the onions
Chop the leeks
Prepare one cup of water
Prepare 1/2 cup of olive oil
Put the carrots, onions and leeks in the pan
Add the olive oil
Add the water! At this point you can add 2 tablespoons of rice if you like! I personally left it out!
Add 1 teaspoon sugar or 2 cubes of sugar
Just a bit of salt! Half a teaspoon should be enough!
Stir and bring to boil
Put the lid on the pan and simmer for about 20 min or until the carrots are soft!
Squeeze half of a lemon!
Pour the lemon juice into the dish!
....and your leeks in olive oil is ready! Serve warm or cold with ....
Crusty brown bread! Enjoy!
