Simple and fun

Supplies

  • Glitter
  • Scrap paper
  • Instructions

    Step 1

Gather leaves (I chose 6 normal ones and 1 huge one).

    Step 2

They are probably ready to break and dry and wrinkled so....

    Step 3

Submerge leaves in a sink full of HOT water and set the timer for 10 minutes. This will make the leaves more flexible and less prone to break.

    Step 4

Take leaves out of sink and drain water. Lay them out on a towel or hand towel.

    Step 5

    Gently press them flat.

    Step 6

Carefully lay another towel on top, pressing the leaves flat as you go.

    Step 7

    Towel sandwhich.

    Step 8

    Pat dry.

    Step 9

After about a minute of patting, gently remove towel, rubbing leaves dry as you go.

    Step 10

Get your leaf and glitter ready.

    Step 11

I used a glue stick for this leaf.
