Wrap a piece of floral wire around the ball on top of its "padding" and twist tight enough that it isn't going to move. I cut the ends long enough to make a loop on the end to hang it by.

Now the fun part. I am using craft paint from hobby lobby. Just squirt and spread. Don't worry if it doesn't cover the print on the ball completely.

Spread of coat one and let it dry. I was in a hurry- so I put the ball in the bathroom with the floor heater on. Each coat dried in about 30 min.

Add another coat, and while the paint is wet, start pouring on the glitter, sequins or whatever embellishment you choose.

I'm not exactly sure how many coats this is going to take. I guess I'll have to report back after Christmas to see how we'll it holds up!

Now... The clear enamel spray. Please spray outside, in ventilated area. I hung mine from the porch  railing and sprayed it about every 30 thirty minutes x about 10 coats.
