How to Make Lamb Koftas

  • 500 Grams Minced lamb
  • 1 Small onion diced
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 Tablespoon Parsley chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Coriander chopped
  • ¼ Teaspoons Cayenne pepper
  • ¼ Teaspoons Allspice ground
  • ¼ Teaspoons Ginger ground
  • ¼ Teaspoons Cardamom ground
  • ½ Teaspoons Cummin ground
  • ½ Teaspoons Paprika ground
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Put your minced lamb into a bowl

    Step 2

    Dice your onion

    Step 3

    Put your onion into bowl with your lamb

    Step 4

    Finely chop your parsley and coriander, add it in the bowl with your lamb and onion

    Step 5

    Add all your spices in the bowl

    Step 6

    Combine all the ingredients together

    Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. Once you have combined all the ingredients, roll the lamb into a long meatball shape Tip: put some water on your hands so the meat doesnt stick to your hands

    Make sure which ever grill you are using is hot

    Place the koftas on the grill. Turn over when brown in colour

    Make sure you are watching so they don't burn

    Serve on a plate with a side of tzatziki! Delicious :)
