How to Make Jenga Style Blocks for a Wedding

by Terrence Lall

Going to have a piece on each table for guests to sign on, at my friends wedding.

  • Wood
  • Saws
  • Sanders
  • Time
  • Stamps and ink
  • Instructions

    Step 1

First I measured how wide 3 pieces side by side were. This will determine the length of my cut

    Step 2

I clamped a stop block onto the miter saw

    Step 3

And started cutting all of the boards down to size

    Step 4

    Step 5

I clamped a sander in my vice, upside down and started the long sanding process

    Step 6

    Please don't mind the mess

    Step 7

I need to clean my garage

    Step 8

After all pieces were sanded I used my air compressor to blow them clean

    Step 9

    Step 10

All cleaned up and ready to stamp

    Step 11

I ended up buying a few sets of letter stamps. I flipped them upside down to make spaces in the names

    Step 12

The two sets on the right were pre made stamps

    Step 13

All blocks were stamped on one side and they're ready to go. They were a big hit!
