So I forgot to take photos of the first step....oops! So pick out a pair of jeans that fits you around the hips and thighs. It doesn't matter if they don't fit length wise:)
While they are on you, decide where you want to cut them (short shorts, Bermuda, etc) and mark with a pen. Then lay them on the ground.
I did one leg at a time, so start with a leg of your choice and cut the front part first. I like to make the back a few cm longer, but that's just me:)
Then do the other leg! It doesn't have to be perfect, no one will notice or care if its a little off:)
You can wear them like this, or....
With one roll. This way the frayed part won't be as obvious!
You can roll them more than once, but personally that's a little too short for my taste!
And they look great with belts!
