Start boiling the milk and keep whisking
Here is how I did it. After 5 minutes of boiling, add 10-11 spoons of sugar.
After 15 - 20 minutes, take about two spoons of custard powder and mix it with the boiling milk. Stir the milk while adding the custard powder.
Crush about 10-15 cardamoms and add them to milk.
Add saffron pieces till you see milk color changes from yellow to saffron.
Add heavy whipping cream, about 1.5 cups.
Crush about 15 pistachios and add them to the milk.
Let the mixture boil for about 10-15 minutes more. Whisk it.
Put the cooking vessel in cold water for 15-20 minutes. Once it cools down, pour the mixture out in a glass container. Put it in the freezer for 5-6 hours. After that the ice cream will be ready.
