Gather all your materials before you get started. The material consist of milk, vanilla, sugar, rock salt, quart size zip-loc bag, gallon zip-loc bag, and a towel/glove.
Add 1/2 cup of milk to quart size Zip-loc bag.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla to the bag with milk.
Vanilla and milk mixed together.
Add 1 tablespoon of sugar to the bag with milk and vanilla.
Milk, vanilla, and sugar all mixed together.
Place quart bag with milk, vanilla, and sugar into a second bag. Make sure the bag is closed tight with some air remaining in the bag.
Add 4 cups of ice to a gallon bag.
Add 4 tablespoons of Rock Salt to the bag of ice.
Place bag with milk, vanilla, and sugar inside the gallon bag consisting of ice and salt.
Shake the bag of ice with the bag of ingredients in it for 5 to 8 minutes. It is important that you are shaking the bag hard up and down as well as left to right.
If ice begins to melt, add more ice and salt to the gallon bag.
Once mixture is hard, you can stop shaking the bag.
Ice cream is created!!!
