Add in 4 tbsp of sesame seeds into the blender
Add in 2 tbsp of exta virgin olive oil. Mix for about 5 minutes. Turn off the blender/food processor
Tadaaa..! You have just made a homemade tahini paste. Every 4 tbsp if sesame seeds and 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil will make approx 2 tbsp of tahini paste.
Start making your hummus by adding a can (drain the excess water) of chickpeas/garbanzos
Add in 4 tbsp of fresh lemon juice.
Add in our homemade tahini paste (2tbsp)
Add in 1 clove of garlic. Blend all together for about 5 minutes.
Add in the salt. At this point you can add 1 clove of finely chopped garlic. Mix in for 1 mnt
Always taste your hummus before plating up. Adjust the amount of lemon juice, salt or garlic according to your likey. Drizzled more extra virgin olive oil to keep it moist
Garnish with some chickpeas/garbanzos. Enjoy!
