Clean the hummingbird feeder and rinse really well. Make sure there is no soap residue.
I have 2 feeders that are 8 ounces each. You want a water to sugar ratio of 4 to 1 so I am using 1/2 cup of sugar for 2 cups of water.
Sugar measure as explained in last step
Pour in the sugar and stir until clear. Using hot tap water allows the sugar to dissolve faster. Do not pour hot mixture into a cold glass feeder. Let it stand and cool a little first.
The mixture is now ready.
Fill your feeders and hang. If you have multiple feeders, try not to have them placed in a direct line of sight between them and place them a fair distance apart.
