How to Make Hot and Spicy Chicken Wings

Supplies

  • 2 dozen chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp. soya sauce
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp. hot sauce
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tsp. oyster sauce
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Start with about 2 dozen raw chicken wings

    Step 2

    Coat the wings with salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce, and soya sauce.

    Step 3

    This is how the wings look coated.

    Lightly dust the chicken wings with flour, to create a crisp coating

    Step 5

    Cook the chicken wings for 40 mins, at 375 degrees Fahrenheit until golden brown. Flip the wings halfway through the cooking process.

    Step 6

    This is how the wings should look after they are fully cooked.

    Peel and dice half a red onion.

    Step 8

    Peel and chop two cloves of garlic.

    Step 10

    Sauté onions and garlic over medium heat in a sauce pan.

    Step 11

    Once the onions are golden brown, turn off the element and add the chicken wings into the pan.

    Step 12

    Combine ketchup, oyster sauce, sriracha hot sauce, chili powder, and oregano in a bowl.

    This is how the sauce looks.

    Chili flakes can also be added to the sauce, for some extra kick! :)

    Add the sauce to the pan of chicken wings and toss well. Be careful not to rip apart your chicken wings!
