How to Make Homemade Hummus

Here's a quick and simple recipe for tasty homemade hummus!


  • 19 Ounces Drained Chickpeas
  • ¼ Cups Lemon Juice
  • 1 Clove of Garlic
  • 5 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 6 Tablespoons Tahini
  • ⅜ Teaspoons Cumin
  • 1 ¼ Teaspoons Salt

    Place the minced garlic in the lemon juice and let sit for 10-15 minutes. Afterwards, add ¼ cup of water to the lemon and garlic mixture.

    Step 3

    Puree the chickpeas; add the water and lemon/garlic mixture, mix.

    Step 4

    Mix the olive oil, tahini, cumin and salt in a bowl.

    Step 5

    Add mixture to the chickpea puree, and blend until smooth!

    Step 6

    Serve and enjoy!
