How to Make Healthy Vegan Chocolate Banana "Ice Cream"!

This is a recipe I have made for years. It's so easy and very healthy! It only contains four ingredients. No one will believe it's made from frozen bananas!

Supplies

  • 3 bananas (sliced and frozen)
  • ⅓ Cups Non-dairy milk (I use almond)
  • ½ Teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 2 Tablespoons Cocoa powder
  • Food processor
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Slice three large very ripe bananas...

    Step 2

    Put them in a container and place it in the freezer for five hours or overnight. (I froze the bananas in a couple small containers since I didn't have a larger one.)

    Step 3

    The next day take the banana slices out of the freezer...

    Step 4

    And gather your supplies...

    Step 5

    Put the frozen bananas in a food processor. If you don't have a food processor - a blender will probably work.

    Step 6

    Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Step 7

    Add 1/3 cup non-dairy milk. (I use almond milk but you could use soy milk, rice milk or hemp milk)

    Step 8

    Blend the mixture until it resembles soft serve ice cream. Then when it's blended add two tablespoons cocoa powder. Blend it again until the cocoa powder is mixed in.

    Step 9

    When it's ready the mixture should look like this. It's the texture of soft serve ice cream.

    Step 10

    Invite a friend over for a dish of chocolate banana ice cream. They will love you forever!
