(Optional) use Baker's Joy & Wax paper to prepare pan. Spray freely. Cut wax paper to the shape of the bottom of the pan. Place on bottom of pan to prevent sticking. See next step for more tips

Allow ice cream to defrost for 5-10 mins. You want to be able to scoop it out easily but you also want it to be firm. DO NOT ALLOW IT TO GET SOUPY! DO NOT PLACE IN MICROWAVE

Get icing spatula and water for smoothing ice cream onto cake. Don't use too much water or else ice cream will melt and cake will get soggy
